About the Journal

 

Journal of Education, Religious, and Instructions (JoERI) is an open-access journal publishing high-quality peer-reviewed articles across the breadth of education science, Buddhist Education, Religious studies, mindfulness & applied Buddhism, and educational instructions. The journal takes an objective and constructive approach to peer review, ensuring each manuscript is well evaluated on its own scholarly merits and research integrity. The journal considers research articles and literature reviews in the areas of education science, religious studies, Buddhist education, Buddhist studies in education, mindfulness in education, educational management, educational technology, educational leadership, general education science, and all kinds of educational instructions.

 

Instructions for authors

Journal of Education, Religious, and Instructions (JoERI) is a biannually (June and December) national or international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality peer-reviewed articles across the breadth of education sciences, religious studies, Buddhist Education, all the education and religious issues; and all educational instructions. Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts (research articles and literature reviews) in English. 

Preparing your manuscript

  • Your manuscript should be written in accordance with the following elements in the next order: title, abstract, keywords, introduction, literature review, methods, results, discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments, funding statement, references, and appendices (as appropriate).
  • It should be between 3000 - 7000 words, including table/figure captions and references.
  • It should contain an abstract of 250 words (between 3 – 6 keywords).

Formatting your manuscript

  • Title use Cambria, 14 pts. (Use bold for the title with an initial capital letter for proper nouns)
  • Author(s) use Cambria, 11 pts.
  • Affiliation(s) use Cambria (italic), 11 pts.
  • Abstract use Cambria, 10 pts.
  • The manuscript body uses Cambria, 11 pts.
  • References use Cambria, 11 pts.
  • Spacing use 1.15 line spacing (except Abstract and References, 1,15 line spacing)
  • Margins use Top 3,25 cm, Bottom 3 cm, Left 3 cm, Right 3 cm

Peer review and ethics

This journal is committed to peer-review integrity and upholding the highest standards of review. Once you have submitted your manuscript to this journal, it will be assessed for suitability by the editor, then it will be double-blind peer-reviewed by independent, anonymous referees in the field to judge the validity, significance, and originality of your work.

As an author, you should be aware of major ethical issues, including authorship (each author listed in a journal article should have contributed significantly to the work reported) and plagiarism (make sure you avoid plagiarism and self-plagiarism).
