This research aims to explore the relationship between the effects of mindfulness and employees' Locus of Control personality traits. Locus of Control is a concept in psychology that measures the degree to which individuals feel they have control over their lives. Individuals with an internal Locus of Control tend to believe that they have control over their fate, while individuals with an external Locus of Control tend to feel that their fate is determined by external factors. Mindfulness is a state of full attention and awareness of current experiences. Previous research has shown that mindfulness practices can improve psychological well-being and reduce stress. However, there has not been much research exploring the relationship between mindfulness and Locus of Control. This research uses a quantitative approach using questionnaires to collect data from employees in various organizations. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive relationship between the level of mindfulness and the employee's internal Locus of Control. This means that the higher an employee's level of mindfulness, the more likely they are to have an internal Locus of Control. These findings have important implications in human resource management and employee personal development. Managers can consider including mindfulness training in employee development programs, which can help improve an employee's internal Locus of Control. In doing so, employees may feel more empowered and better able to overcome challenges in their work.
