Kajian dan Reviu Jinarakkhita: Jurnal Gerakan Semangat Buddhayana (JGSB) Vol. 4 No. 2 (April–Oktober 2026)

In this issue, we present five scholarly articles reflecting the dynamic engagement of Buddhist thought with contemporary challenges. The articles are contributed by researchers from 4 countries and 5 different institutions, representing Indonesia, Vietnam, the United States, and Thailand, and reflecting diverse academic perspectives, traditions, and methodological approaches within Buddhist studies. This issue explores the emergence and suppression of the Sky-Blue Buddhism movement in Myanmar, the development of Buddhist ecotheology in response to the climate crisis, and the relevance of the Ādhipateyya Sutta and Saṅgaha Sutta in understanding employee behavior and mindful leadership. It also examines the role of mindful communication in shaping students' self-concept. Together, these studies demonstrate that Buddhist teachings serve not only as a foundation for spiritual reflection but also as a source of ethical and conceptual insights relevant to contemporary social, environmental, organizational, and educational challenges.

May each article offer fresh insights, deepen reflection, and foster interdisciplinary and cross-cultural dialogue.

Happy reading.
