Kajian & Reviu Jinarakkhita: Jurnal Gerakan Semangat Buddhayana (JGSB), known in English as Jinarakkhita Review and Studies: Journal of the Buddhayana Spirit Movement, is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality scholarly articles exploring ideas and academic reflections on the Buddhayana Spirit Movement, humanistic Buddhism, Buddhist religious studies, and various dimensions of societal life through the lens of applied Buddhism. The journal adopts an objective and constructive peer review process, ensuring that each manuscript is rigorously evaluated based on scholarly merit and research integrity. JGSB features both original research and comprehensive literature reviews in the field of Buddhist religious studies, including canonical Buddhist texts, insights into the Buddhayana perspective, humanistic Buddhism, Buddhist literature; Buddhist sermons (Sutta Pitaka); monastic discipline and regulations (Vinaya Pitaka); exegetical texts (Abhidhamma Pitaka); studies of various Buddhist schools; as well as Buddhist philosophy and sacred art. It also encompasses research on the historical development of Buddhism, the Buddhist heritage of the Indonesian archipelago, the evolution and advancement of Indonesian Buddhism, and the teachings and guidance of the Late Most Venerable Ashin Jinarakkhita, particularly within the context of the Buddhayana Spirit Movement. Furthermore, the journal welcomes discussions on Buddhist ethics and all branches of Buddhist scholarship, embracing both orthodox and contemporary perspectives. What sets this journal apart is its distinctive focus on integrating Buddhist viewpoints into the scholarly examination of religious moderation issues, particularly as they intersect with diverse aspects of societal life, such as art, culture, philosophy, and the advancement of global civilization.
